UPSC Answer Writing Practice Programme
Reading is not preparation. Writing is.
Most aspirants spend nine months reading and three weeks writing, and then discover in the examination hall that these are unrelated skills. You can hold a subject completely in your head and still produce, under a clock, an answer that wanders for the first sixty words, buries its best point in the middle and stops rather than concludes.
The gap closes in one way only: writing answers regularly, having them read by someone competent, and changing one thing at a time. Not writing them and filing them. Not writing them and comparing them against a model answer, which mainly teaches you what a better-informed person would have written. Writing them and having them marked.
This programme is that, at a cadence a working person can actually sustain.
How it works
Questions are released to a schedule.
You write by hand, under time. Ten minutes for a 150-word answer, roughly fifteen for a 250-word answer, on ruled paper, in the handwriting you will use in August. Typing defeats the purpose. Handwriting speed and legibility are part of what is being trained.
You upload a photograph or a scan.
A named evaluator marks it and sends it back. Comments on the script beside the sentences they concern, a mark, and one specific instruction to apply to your next answer.
The next script is checked against that instruction. This is the part that turns practice into improvement. An evaluator who tells you seven things has told you nothing you can act on. One thing, applied, verified, then the next thing.
What this is not
It is not the Mains Test Series →. That is full three-hour papers under examination conditions, and it tests whether your writing holds up across twenty questions and 180 minutes. This programme builds the individual answer. Most candidates need this first and that second, and buying the second without the first is how people end up writing eight bad papers instead of one.
It is not a daily-question blog. Questions posted publicly with a model answer underneath are freely available from several sources and are worth exactly what you pay for them, because nobody reads what you wrote. The evaluation is the entire product here.
If you want to learn the technique before you buy anything, our guide to how to write a UPSC Mains answer → is free and covers structure, introductions, substantiation and the use of diagrams.

Fees
Per-answer or small-block pricing is worth considering here. It is the lowest-risk purchase in the cluster, it is the natural first transaction with an aspirant who does not know us, and a student who has had ten answers marked well is the easiest sale in the business for the Mains Test Series.

Try it with one answer
Pick any General Studies question from a previous year paper, write the answer by hand in fifteen minutes, photograph it and send it to us. We will evaluate it properly and send it back marked, at no charge and with no obligation.

FAQs
How many answers do I write each week?
Do I have to write by hand?
Yes, and we will not evaluate typed submissions. The Mains is handwritten in three-hour sittings, and handwriting speed, legibility and the physical stamina to write for fifteen hours across five days are part of what is being trained here.
How is this different from the Mains Test Series?
This is question-level practice on a weekly cadence, for building structure and speed. The Mains Test Series → is full three-hour papers under examination conditions. Most candidates should do this first and that second.
Who marks my answers and how quickly do I get them back?
Can I do this alongside a full-time job?
Yes. That is what it is designed for. A 250-word answer takes fifteen minutes to write and a photograph takes ten seconds to send. Aspirants working in Coimbatore and Tiruppur write in the evening and submit the same night.
Can I submit answers in Tamil?
Will you give me model answers?
Model answers are useful after your own attempt has been marked and are actively harmful before it, because they replace your reasoning with somebody else's.
