Disclaimer

We are not affiliated with the Union Public Service Commission or the Government of India

Samkalp IAS Academy Coimbatore is a private coaching institution. We have no affiliation with, endorsement from, or official connection to the Union Public Service Commission, the Department of Personnel and Training, the Government of India, or the Government of Tamil Nadu. We do not conduct any part of the Civil Services Examination and we have no involvement in its administration or its results.

References to UPSC on this website are references to the examination it conducts. Any use of official names is descriptive.

The Commission's notification always overrides this website

We take considerable care with examination facts. Every page in our UPSC section states the notice it was written from and the date it was last checked, and our editorial policy sets out how that is maintained.

None of that makes us authoritative. Eligibility, age, attempts, syllabus, pattern, dates, fees and every other rule are set by the Commission and change with each cycle. Where anything on this site differs from the Commission's current notification, the notification is right and we are wrong. Read it at upsc.gov.in before you act on anything here.

If you find something on this site that is out of date or wrong, tell us at info@samkalpias.in and we will correct it and record the correction.

The eligibility checker is an aid, not a determination

The eligibility checker applies the rules in the examination notice to what you type into it. It cannot verify anything you tell it and it does not know your circumstances. The Commission verifies eligibility against original documents only after a candidate has qualified for the Personality Test, and candidates have been removed at that stage. Do not treat a result from our tool as a decision about your candidature.

No guarantee of any examination outcome

Nothing on this website, in our materials, or said by anybody representing us is a promise, guarantee or prediction of selection, of a rank, of clearing any stage, or of any particular score. Outcomes in this examination depend on the candidate's own work over a long period, and on a competitive field we do not control.

We do not publish predicted cut-offs, and we would encourage you to be sceptical of anybody who does.

Results and testimonials

Our results page states the current position honestly. Any individual result or student statement published anywhere on this site is that person's own experience, published with their written consent, and is not a representation of what any other student should expect. The verification standard we apply before publishing any result is set out on that page.

Fees, schedules and programme content

Fees, batch dates, timetables, faculty allocation and programme content are as published at the time of publication and may change. The terms that apply to your enrolment are those in force when you enrolled — see the terms and the refund policy.

Third-party links

This site links to upsc.gov.in, to government publications and to news sources. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement. Links to the Commission are provided because the Commission is the source of record.

Views of individual faculty

Analysis, opinion and strategy advice on this site — including the year notes on our previous year question papers page and the commentary in our weekly current affairs digest — represent the professional judgement of the named author. They are clearly separated from statements of fact, and they are opinion.

Our relationship with the national organisation

Samkalp IAS Academy Coimbatore is the Tamil Nadu chapter of Samkalp IAS, New Delhi. Achievements, figures and history belonging to the national organisation belong to the national organisation. Where this site refers to them, they are attributed to it, and they are not claims about the Coimbatore chapter.
